Blessed Events Photography was easy on the pocket and AMAZING with our 4 children. They spent one on one time with each of them and as a group made them feel comfortable... I would refer them to everyone and will keep referring because they truly know what they are doing.. 5 Stars all the way... You guys are doing a great job.. Keep up the AMAZING work...
Blessed Events completely failed.
On the day of my wedding, is it the bride's responsibility to walk the photographer through every single shot needed?
The most creativity was added by changing color photos to sepia and black and white. Some of the shots look like it's a shoot for a senior pictures…cheesy and without an ounce of creativity.
Throughout my wedding day, I kept asking the photographer if she felt she was getting good shots and good angles, and she would always reply with a confident, 'yes!' Our wedding day photos could have been taken by anyone with a point and click camera. In fact, my friends took better pictures on our wedding day with better angles on THEIR PHONES!
Blessed Events did not even get a shot of me and my father! Really??? My wedding day and not a picture of me and my dad… wow.
I thought Mother Nature was my biggest concern… I was greatly mistaken.
Please do everyone a favor and do NOT market yourself as a wedding photographer… because that you are not.
It's not even about the price… it's about how they marketed their services. I can't re-do this day.I now have some pictures to put in a book for documentation, and maybe a few to frame… but for the most part, this day will be just what it is… a memory.
The entire first look (pre wedding photos) was barely a topic in the picture selection. Photographer does not know how to take pictures in candle light.
I received my flash drive with my pictures last week. With great expectations, I sat down at my computer and opened up the drive. My biggest fear came true when I saw the quality of pictures that were taken at my wedding.
I spoke to Billie at Blessed Events multiple times about what I was looking for, how artistic and different poses were important to me, and how I envisioned capturing the day. I did not want too many of the cheesy stand up formal pictures, even though I knew that some were needed.
Blessed Events had the perfect setting, the perfect weather, the perfect day, and they completely failed to capture it.
The majority of our photos were taken straight on, NO creative angles, NO creative lighting, no soft touches, awkward spacing between people, nothing creative period.
