Love it beautiful sitting area great updated play area for kids with big pond and river running through nice tennis courts with softball field great for family funtions. Newly remodeled and landscaped . Xmas lights every year are top notch $5 for a season pass to see lights.great fishing spots
My daughter chose Matter Park for her wedding. This is a beautiful venue, Marion's hidden gem! Julie is great to work with, as well as the rest of the staff. I can not say enough positive comments about our whole experience. Numerous guests were shocked at the magnitude of beauty of this City Park! My daughters wedding was straight out of an enchanted garden, just like she wanted! Thank you Julie and Park staff!
Very natural beauty to this park with it situated along the river that runs through town. It has a great play place for the kids. Tennis courts. I wish it had a basket ball court though. Only down point to this park is the bathrooms, which have no doors and are always filthy and out of stock. If they fixed the bathroom situation I’d rate this a 5 Star Park.
Great paths year round! Additionally, the "Walkway of Lights" is a tradition for my family. Every year we gather together, and weather permitting, we walk through the light, and make memories! Highly recommended for children or a cute day with you s/o!

My son and I love to go to this park. There is so much to do. There is also a butterfly garden that you can rent out for special occasions like weddings. There are a lot of educational games to play in the jungle gym. My son loves it. We go here a lot. They are wheelchair accessible. They have grills where you can grill out. They also have trails you can hike. During winter months they decorate the entire park with a light show. You can drive through and enjoy the beauty of the seasonal decor.
